Two Variants of Relay Race
- The Relay Race starts in the course of the WVV Marathon Würzburg at 9:00 am.
- Each athlete (6 per relay) walk ca. 7 km on the track (fixed changing spots).
- Each relay gets during the distribution of racing numbers a Velcro with a chip and 6 racing numbers. This Velcro will always be given to the next runner. It has to be worn on the foot so that the time can be kept.
- The relay track is the same as the official marathon track and the food spots are also the same.
- In the end the last runner returns the chip and the Velcro and gets 6 medals for his team.
- For pupils with an age of 10 and 18 years there are the same conditions as for the normal relay race:
- 6 runners per relay
- ca 7 km stages with fixed changing spots

First Runner
7,5 kmstarts at the CCW ends at changing spot Dreikronenstraße km 7,5 (between Friedensbrücke and Alte Mainbrücke at the refreshment spot)

Second Runner
7,5 km from changing spot Dreikronenstraße (between Friedensbrücke and Alte Mainbrücke at refreshment spot km 7,5) to changing spot Ludwigskai at refreshment spot (near Sonnenstraße) km 15

5 km from changing spot Ludwigskai at refreshment spot (near Sonnenstraße) km 15 to changing spot near Dom at refreshment spot km 20

8,5 km from changing spot near Dom at refreshment spot km 20 to changing spot Dreikronenstraße (between Friedensbrücke and Alte Mainbrücke at refreshment spot) km 28,5

The first runner starts with a ChampionChip that is used as a relay baton and given to the following runner at the changing spots. The grid for the first athletes starts from 8:45 am on at the CCW.
Starting time is at 9:00 am. The starting area can only be entered by athletes. Please be on time. Every superfluous mad rush and nervousness stops you from your personal performance.
Finishing Order. After finishing all participants will be celebrated, get their medals, beverages, bananas, cake, etc. at the Finish Line Banquet and can have a massage. Afterwards everybody can take a refreshing shower directly in the finishing area.
